During the class students will be welcome to explore patterns for different doll sizes. Use pattern making paper to make copies of your favorite patterns. Create clothes using the fabrics, trims, buttons, needle and threads provided. Learn to measure your doll including the head size. learn the simplest places to make openings to accomodate the larger head and smaller shoulders so garments don't fall off your doll. Learn the pattern shapes for a basic skirt, dress, sweater, jacket and pants for your doll. Bring your doll - any size.
Ages 6-96, Limited to 10 students
Friday, mid-day, 11am-2pm
*Children must be accompanied by an adult. The adult may choose to take the class or not.
Fee includes materials.
Students are encouraged to take all three classes and create a full wardrobe including coats, sweaters, evening dresses and hats.Instructor: Lee Andersen
