Worried about your child’s grade one-to-five education?

Help us bring the entertaining and educational DoodleHATCH Show to your children and the children of single moms working two jobs.

Lee Andersen and her dedicated team at DoodleHATCH are producing a streaming YouTube show to educate and entertain children in grades one-to-five. The show is modeled on Sesame Street with costumed humans and puppets. It teaches Math, Reading, Phonics, Emotional Health, Physical Health, Dance, Music, Craft and Art. A wizard attempts to teach Science! Cute live animals appear on each episode. The episode Grade 1-Letter A has two full size alpacas visiting the tiny recording studio.

Each of the 30-minute episodes includes 10 three-minute segments so kids stay tuned into learning, even if they are not in love with the subject.

Our project started in 2020 during Covid with seed money from the Howard County government. The show is hosted by a delightful bilingual human named Grandmamamama. It is co-hosted by Leonora the Dragon, a six-foot-tall colorful crochet dragon.

The key character on the show is Gurt, a five-foot-tall Intergalactic Exchange Student with four toes on each foot and two arm-like tentacles. He counts by ten like humans! Gurt is ‘inhabited’ by the 5-foot-tall human, physical comedian, Sherryn.

The bright pink 3-foot-tall Fashionista Mathematician, Lily le Fey, teaches math while wearing a new outfit each show. DeeOgeee Dog is an endearing, 3-foot tall, fluffy, floppy-eared student who tries his best.

Please contribute to this ManneqART nonprofit to help us bring this show to children in need. Single moms working two jobs need to be able to cook dinner in peace, and ‘god forbid’ actually rest! Like all of us, they want their children learning, not watching junk. The DoodleHATCH Show keeps kids’ attention, makes them giggle, and sneakily teaches them the official Maryland curriculum plus additional life skills. Note: The show is also a perfect program for kids with two parents. It is “edutainment” for all! Think of it as educational insurance for the next pandemic. $50 is greatly appreciated!

Would your business consider sponsoring one of the 125 shows in the series for $2,500? There will be a direct link to your website at the end of the show you sponsor and your company will be acknowledged in the credits of each show. The first show, Grade 1 Letter A, will be free on YouTube at the end of October this year. Each week, a new letter of the Alphabet becomes available, and a link will be sent to our 4000 DoodleHATCH parents. These parents will be invited to pass the link along to their Mom-groups, family and friends. Previous letters of the Alphabet in each grade remain accessible forever or until YouTube stops operating. Sesame Street has been going for 50 years!

Thank you from Lee and her Team!!!
